When I was a Senior in high school I went on a trip to New York City. While there I went to the Virgin Megastore in Times Square, determined to buy something cool on my first trip to NYC. I picked up Punk-O-Rama Vol 8 and Atticus- Dragging The Lake Vol 1. This song was the opening track for Dragging The Lake and it’s still, in my opinion, the best Alkaline Trio song I’ve heard. I could regale you with more sappy stories of my wannabe punk rock youth, but I’d rather you just listen to the song.
